North Military District Headquarters (Rostov-on-Don), Jan 4 Russian troops destroyed the launcher of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, from which Ukrainian troops hit Makiivka on January 1, by return fire, Lieutenant General Sergei Sevryukov, First Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the RF Armed Forces, said on Wednesday. The multiple rocket launcher system, from which the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at Makiivka, was destroyed.Also, as a result of missile and air strikes on the accumulation of military equipment in the area of the Druzhkovka railway station of the Donetsk People's Republic, four more launchers of HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, four MLRS combat vehicles were destroyed RM-70 Vampire, more than 800 rockets for them, eight vehicles, as well as more than 200 Ukrainian nationalists and foreign mercenaries,» Sevryukov said.
Earlier in the Ministry of Defense reported that two HIMARS installations were destroyed in the Druzhkovka area.
