BERLIN, Jan 6 The Russian Embassy in Germany condemned Berlin's decision to send Marder infantry fighting vehicles and Patriot air defense systems to Kyiv, the Russian side sees it as a step towards escalating the conflict in Ukraine.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and US President Joe Biden in a telephone conversation on Thursday agreed to send heavy military equipment to Kyiv. Germany announced its readiness to supply Marder infantry fighting vehicles and Patriot air defense systems.
