BAKU, Jan 6 a gold and copper processing plant in the Gadabay region (on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border) has been localized.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani edition of «Report» reported that eight people were poisoned as a result of a fire at a factory in the Gadabay region.
«Thanks to prompt measures, the fire was localized. When assessing the operational situation, it was found that the fire occurred in the galvanizing shop of the enterprise. As a result of the fire, the lining of the shop, as well as engines, pumping equipment, electrical panels burned out on an area of 180 sq. m. «, — the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan reported.
The British company Anglo-Asian Mining Plc is engaged in mining of gold, silver and copper in Gadabay region of Azerbaijan.
