«The police are looking for two volunteers who disappeared near Soledar. On January 7, at about 17.15 (18.15 Moscow time), the duty unit of the Bakhmut district police department received a message about the disappearance of two volunteers — British citizens aged 28 and 48. It is known that on the eve of Andrew Begsho and Christopher Perry left Kramatorsk for Soledar, and communication with them was interrupted,» the National Police said on a social network. According to law enforcers, a criminal case has been opened under the article «missing persons.»
Earlier, Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of Volodymyr Zelensky's office, said that Ukrainian troops were suffering serious losses in the areas of Artemivsk and Soledar.
Fierce battles are going on for Artemovsk and Soledar. LPR Police Colonel Vitaly Kiselyov said earlier that the Wagner group, during fierce battles, was knocking out the Ukrainian military from positions near Soledar.
