DOHA, Jan 10 Qatar denied media reports of new restrictions on women in Afghanistan, in particular a ban on working in shops, political office chief Suhel Shaheen told reporters.
Earlier, Al-Arabiya TV channel, citing sources, reported that the Taliban-formed government of Afghanistan set a ten-day deadline for the closure of women's beauty salons in the country and banned women from working in shopping centers.
