WASHINGTON Jan 14 Raytheon Technologies contract for «technical assistance» in the operation of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, which will be delivered to Ukraine, follows from a publication on the Pentagon's procurement website.
The United States previously announced its intention to transfer one Patriot battery to the Ukrainian military, the second should be provided by Germany.
«Raytheon Technologies will provide technical assistance, consisting of advice and assistance in planning, application, maintenance, repair and provision of Patriot air defense systems of Ukraine, related equipment and elements of logistical support,» the message says.
A quotation at the Pentagon is only expected from Raytheon Technologies, which manufactures the Patriot, but other companies are encouraged to contact her for participation in the contract as subcontractors.
