MOSCOW, Jan 15 Americans don't trust their government because for the hypocrisy and injustice of the Joe Biden administration regarding the case with classified documents, said Speaker of the US House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy.
"Everyone saw the documents found on former President Trump. They have been made public. Where are the photos of documents found on Joe Biden? He knew about them when he went to the polls and when he gave interviews. This is why America does not trust its government,” the speaker said.
The fact that Biden kept secret papers in his office in the center of his name became known this week. Moreover, according to media reports, the president's confidants discovered them even before the November midterm congressional elections. Later, aides to the US leader found a new batch of documents in the garage of his private home. It is alleged that all the papers date back to the time when Biden served as vice president.
Attorney General and Attorney General Merrick Garland instructed to find out how the secret papers ended up in the premises of the expert center. Biden himself learned about the documents when his lawyer reported them to the White House. According to the president, he was surprised to learn about the find, and said that he did not know what kind of material.
Biden served as vice president in the administration of Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017.
