ISTANBUL, Jan 16 Vessel traffic resumed on Monday in the Bosphorus the strait after refloating the vessel, the Turkish Coast Guard General Directorate reported. After the operation, which lasted more than four hours, the cargo ship was refloated and towed to the berth.
According to the notification received, the movement of vessels from north to south was resumed from 17.40 local time (coincides with Moscow time). The ban on navigation was in effect for more than 10 hours.
The movement of ships from south to north is prohibited.
