DONETSK, Jan 16 Man's body recovered from rubble collapsed as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian troops of the shopping center building in the Kalininsky district of Donetsk, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Donetsk People's Republic.
«At 21.40, a dead man was pulled out from under the rubble. His personal data is being established,» the ministry said in a telegram channel.
It is noted that 20 units of equipment and more than 60 people were involved in the work to eliminate the consequences of the collapse. Rescue work continues.
Earlier, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that Ukrainian troops fired three rockets from MLRS into the Kalininsky district of Donetsk on Monday morning. The building of the shopping center, service station and route taxi No. 46 were damaged. The mayor of Donetsk, Aleksey Kulemzin, added that Ukrainian shells hit the building of the Avoska supermarket, a pharmacy at a bus stop opposite the meat processing plant, and a residential building.
