UN, Jan 18 The crisis in Ukraine is far from peace , UN Secretary General António Guterres said at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
«We are making progress where we can, especially in facilitating the export of food and fertilizer from Ukraine and Russia. But we are far from (achievement — ed.) peace in accordance with international law and the UN Charter,» Guterres said.
Secretary General spoke about the profound global consequences of what is happening for world food and energy prices, for trade and supply chains, for nuclear safety issues.
