MOSCOW, 22 Jan. Vladimir Zelensky announced that he had met with former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Kyiv.
Earlier Sunday, Oleksiy Goncharenko, a member of the Ukrainian parliament, announced that Johnson had arrived in Ukraine.
«Welcome to Kyiv, a true friend of Ukraine Boris Johnson. Boris, thank you for your support,» Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel and published a video of the meeting with Johnson.
According to Zelensky's office, during the meeting, Zelensky and Johnson discussed preparations for the summit, which they plan to hold with the goal of implementing the «peace formula» presented by Zelensky.
«At the request of Boris Johnson, the president briefed him in detail on the situation on the front line,» the message on the website of Zelensky's office reads.
They stressed that they were confident in the strong support of partners Ukraine.
