Earlier it was reported that on Friday morning a gas explosion occurred in a three-story residential building in the Katowice district of Szopenice. The house collapsed as a result of the explosion. We managed to quickly get seven people out of the rubble, all of them are alive. The body of the occupant of the house was later found.
«During the search and rescue operations, the body of a second person was found. Unfortunately, the death of this person was also ascertained,» the governor said.
«Most likely, no one is under the rubble. But search and rescue operations will continue,» he added.
According to him, the site of the collapse of the house is once again examined by dogs, and if they do not indicate that there are people under the rubble, then heavy equipment will begin to clear the rubble.
