ZURICH, Jan 27 Leader of the Danish far-right Hard Deal party Rasmus Paludan said that he had carried out another rally with the burning of a copy of the Koran, this time in front of the Turkish embassy in Copenhagen.
Friday Agence France-Presse reported that Paludan burned the Koran outside a mosque in the Danish capital. Later it became known that a similar action was held at the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Denmark, located in Copenhagen. The Russian diplomatic mission condemned such actions.

«I was just at the Turkish embassy and burned this book, as it is important to show (Turkish President Tayyip) Erdogan that we will not accept his interference in freedom of speech in Denmark and Sweden,» Paludan said in a video message , published on his Instagram page*.

Before that, on January 21, the Hard Deal leader burned the holy book of Muslims at the Turkish embassy in Stockholm, having previously received permission from the Swedish authorities for this action. Tayyip Erdogan said on January 23 that Sweden should not count on Turkish support for its bid to join NATO. The leader of the right-wing radical movement Pegida, Edwin Wagensveld, staged a rally in The Hague on Monday, tearing out several pages from the Koran, then burning them.
