A sharp increase in deaths from coronavirus in Japan has been observed since early December. In total, more than 67 thousand people died from coronavirus in Japan during the pandemic. But if in October 1,800 people died in a month, in November — more than 3,000, then in December this figure soared to 7,600 people. At the same time, 97% of all deaths occur in the age category over 60 years.
