MOSCOW, January 30 Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky said, that the head of Vladimir Zelensky's office, Andriy Yermak, «removes» disloyal officials from the Cabinet of Ukraine.
Earlier on Monday, the Ukrainian edition of RBC-Ukraine reported, citing its own sources, that at the next plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada in February, the dismissal of eight cabinet ministers could be considered at once. We are talking about Energy Minister German Galushchenko, Minister of Strategic Industries Pavel Ryabikin, Minister of Youth and Sports Vadim Gutsaite, Minister of Education Sergei Shkarlet, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration Irina Vereshchuk, Minister of Ecology Ruslana Streltsa, Minister of Veterans Affairs Yulia Laputina, as well as about the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko.
«I read the names of ministers who are allegedly going to be dismissed in the near future, and I see several lines of conflicts that are taking place on Bankovaya at once. And in all these lines, Yermak opposes people from Zelensky's «old» entourage or removes those who are not 101% loyal, » — Dubinsky wrote in his Telegram channel. He noted that ministers Vereshchuk, Laputina and Shkarlet were «accountable» to the dismissed deputy head of Zelensky's office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko. Minister of Culture Tkachenko, according to the parliamentarian, is in conflict with Yermak.
According to him, the Minister of Strategic Industries, Ryabikin, is resigning due to illness. Gutzeit, Dubinsky specified, will leave the post of Minister of Youth and Sports and remain in the position of chairman of the National Olympic Committee of the country.
«In general, such a rotation in the Cabinet once again emphasizes the status of an ordinary-zero (Prime Minister Denis — ed.) Shmyhal, who does not affect any of these dismissals. And based on the results of the appointments, we can say with full confidence that in the country an informal prime minister named Yermak appeared,» he summed up.
Earlier, a number of major resignations took place in the leadership of Ukraine. Deputy Head of Volodymyr Zelensky's Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, wrote a letter of resignation. Later, several deputy ministers did the same, and the Cabinet of Ministers approved the dismissal of five chairmen of regional military administrations. The Prosecutor General's Office fired Deputy Prosecutor General Oleksiy Symonenko.
According to Ukrainian politicians and media, several more high-ranking officials will lose their posts in the near future. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal may also be threatened with dismissal, which will entail the resignation of the entire government.
