PARIS, Jan 31 there are no fighter flights yet, but this issue will be discussed with the Ukrainian side, French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu said.
On Tuesday Head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Oleksiy Reznikov arrived in Paris on his first visit.
«We will discuss the issue of training Ukrainian pilots in our contacts with the Ukrainian side today. But no decision has been made yet,» Lecornu said at a joint press conference with Reznikov.
Earlier, Politico, citing an assistant to the French defense minister, reported that Paris is studying a request from Kyiv to train Ukrainian pilots to fly fighter jets.
