ANKARA, Feb 1 bus in Turkish Tokat, the driver died on the spot, the newspaper Yeni Şafak writes on Wednesday.
It is reported that the accident occurred at about 05.30 (coincides with Moscow time) in Kyzylinish on the Tokat-Sivas highway.
«A passenger bus traveling from Van to Samsun got out of control and overturned on a slippery road due to snowfall in the region,» the newspaper reported.
As a result of the accident, the bus driver died on the spot, and 15 people were injured, four of them seriously.
«After receiving the notification, brigades of doctors, firefighters and AFAD (rescuers) were sent to the area. The wounded were taken to the city's hospitals by ambulances …», the newspaper specified.
