SIMFEROPOL, February 3 State Duma deputy from Sevastopol Dmitry Belik said that the American authorities, by supporting the escalation in Ukraine, are turning the Ukrainian people into a «endangered species.»
«Washington, in its insane desire to harm Russia by proxy, is pushing Ukrainians to slaughter, thereby essentially turning the Ukrainian people into an endangered species listed in the Red Book,» Belik said.
In his opinion, Washington is already aware of the perniciousness of its situation, so in the near future they can offer Russia a track to freeze the conflict in Ukraine.
«Washington will try to save its face with minimal losses. But in fact it will be a deception and an opportunity to inject additional military forces into Ukraine, even if it means sending legions of foreign citizens. Today, there is no one in the White House with anyone to talk, and there is nothing to talk about,» the deputy said.
