MOSCOW, February 7 Russian senators during their visit to Laos told their colleagues about the special operation carried out by Russia, as well as about the activities of US biological laboratories, said Elena Afanasyeva, a member of the delegation.
In addition to Afanasyeva, the delegation included senators Pavel Tarakanov and Andrey Chernyshev.
«Our delegation explained in detail the position of Russia on holding the NMD to protect the Russians and the territory of the Russian Federation from the aggression of Ukrainian nationalists. We brought to our Laotian colleagues information about the work in the Russian parliament of a special commission that investigates the military biological activities of the United States in Ukraine,» the politician wrote on her Telegram channel.
She clarified that meetings had already been held with Chairman of the National Assembly of Laos Saisomphon Phomvihan and Deputy Head of the National Assembly, Head of the Friendship Group with the Russian Parliament Lieutenant-General Suwon Lyangbunmi, deputies of the Lao Parliament. The meetings were attended by Russian Ambassador to Laos Vladimir Kalinin.
«There is a constant dialogue between the executive and legislative authorities of our countries, the work of the inter-parliamentary friendship group is being successfully built, which contributes to the establishment of economic and cultural ties between the regions of Russia and Laos,» Afanasyeva noted.
According to her, during the meetings «the question of direct air communication between Russia and Laos was raised, without which the exchange of goods, the development of tourism relations and cultural exchanges is difficult.»
