As noted, law enforcement agencies are investigating the situation. Other details of the incident were not disclosed.
This is not the first case of unauthorized entry into the Andrews base. In March 2022, two people in a car tried to break into the air base when Deputy Prime Minister Kamala Harris and a number of American officials were there, one armed man was detained.
