«The total cost of military assistance to Ukraine as of January 24 amounted to about 1.07 billion euros,» the Minister of Defense says in a letter to the House of Representatives of the Netherlands (lower house of parliament).
It is noted that out of the indicated amount, the cost of military equipment and equipment that the Netherlands supplied to Ukraine is estimated at 463.8 million euros.
In Ollongren's previous report — December 16, 2022 — the total amount of military assistance to Ukraine was 987 million euros.

At the end of January, the Netherlands announced its intention to supply Kyiv with two Patriot SAM launchers and missiles.
In addition, the Hague announced that they would consider the possibility of supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighters, and also that they did not exclude payment for the supply of German Leopard tanks for Kyiv.
Russia sent a note to NATO countries because of arms supplies to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any cargo that contains weapons for Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia.
