The General Director of the Tretyakov Gallery Zelfira Tregulova resigned. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.
Treugulova has been in charge of the gallery since 2015. Her place will be taken by Elena Pronicheva, who was previously the head of the Polytechnic Museum. According to the Antiglyanets telegram channel, Pronicheva is the daughter of the former head of the FSB Border Service, Vladimir Pronichev.
Pronicheva was appointed head of the Polytechnic Museum in 2021, by which time he had been under reconstruction for eight years. Prior to that, she directed the Jewish Museum.
