He reacted to the Israeli government's decision to begin the process of retroactively legalizing nine settlement outposts and pushing ahead with projects to build 10,000 housing units for Jewish settlers in what most of the world community considers occupied Palestinian land.
«As previous administrations, Democratic and Republican, we strongly object to such unilateral measures that provoke tension and undermine prospects for a negotiated bi-state solution,» Price said in a statement.
It does not, however, contain any mention of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, as has been customary since the presidency of Donald Trump, who revised US approaches to the Arab-Israeli settlement.
