
MOSCOW, March 7 the city's busy roads, Mayor Igor Terekhov said on Tuesday.
«In the afternoon, I held successful negotiations with persons responsible for safety. We agreed that we will begin to highlight highways and other busiest roads. Today, street lamps will work from 18.00 (19.00 Moscow time) to 19.30 (20.30 Moscow time) in a test mode» , he wrote in his Telegram channel.
As Terekhov noted, the operating time of street lighting will gradually increase. The mayor of Kharkiv expressed hope that the decision to return street lighting would improve the situation on the roads.
In November 2022, Terekhov stated that the number of accidents had sharply increased in Kharkiv due to the lack of street lighting.
Earlier, the national energy company Ukrenergo reported that there were no restrictions on the supply of electricity to consumers in Ukraine.
