
MOSCOW, Mar 8 Former US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News , which would allow Russia to give «certain areas» of Ukraine to resolve the conflict, but this moment was not shown.
According to the Daily Beast, Trump gave an interview to the Fox News channel, later the presenter on the channel aired fragments of the video, in one of them the former president boasted that he could stop the conflict in Ukraine, but at the same time, part of the conversation with the plan to his vision of resolving the situation was cut out.
«That's without even negotiating a deal. I could negotiate. In the worst case, I could make a deal that involves taking control of something, there are certain areas that, frankly, are Russian-speaking areas, but a deal could be struck,» the ex-president quoted the newspaper as saying.
Trump reiterates his view that if he were US president, the conflict in Ukraine could have been avoided. Earlier, the former head of the White House assured that it would not be difficult to resolve the conflict in Ukraine if he was re-elected as head of state. At the same time, Trump then refused to say what exactly his plan was and what actions he intended to take, but noted that the disclosure of this information would not allow him to realize his plan and end the conflict.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in October 2022 signed federal constitutional laws on the admission of new territories to Russia and the formation of new subjects of the Russian Federation.
