MOSCOW, March 9 Transnistrian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev said that the head of the unrecognized republic, Vadim Krasnoselsky, is at his workplace, performing his duties.
«Of course, the president is at his workplace, he performs his duties, in the same standard mode, of course, taking into account the situation in the increased security mode, but, of course, the president, of course, will work as intensively as always, decides tasks in the name of the interests of our country,» he said on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
Earlier on Thursday, the Ministry of State Security of Transnistria announced the prevention of an assassination attempt on the leader of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky. According to the agency, the attempt on Krasnoselsky was prepared at the direction of the SBU, the suspects were detained and are giving confessions.
