The Renault Group and BP with its global lubricants manufacturer Castrol have decided to expand their strategic partnership from January 1, 2020, which began in 2017 within the framework of Formula -1.
BP and Castrol have decided to extend their partnership with the Renault F1 Team until 2024. With the new Formula One regulation coming into effect in 2021, BP and Castrol will play a key role in supporting the Renault F1 Team. The companies supply the team with state-of-the-art fuels, transmission, hydraulic and engine oils, greases and brake fluid. Castrol is also the supplier of lubricants for the extreme loads of the team's technical centers at Enstone and Viry-Châtillon.In addition, Castrol becomes a global engine oil partner of the Renault Group for use in the network of authorized Renault workshops from 1 January 2020. The new range of Renault Castrol co-branded products will be available at Renault dealers. Both companies are leading technology brands and are teaming up to provide Renault customers with the highest level of service.
Technical partnerships in the aftermarket and Formula 1 segments will allow the companies to push the boundaries of existing technology as in racing track and beyond. Through the collaboration between Castrol and the Renault Group, Renault customers and dealers will receive high-quality products and excellent service, and the Renault F1 Team will receive strong support to achieve high results.
