MOSCOW, 9 Mar. Actor Bob Odenkirk will star in a remake of the drama The Room, which was called the worst film in the history of cinema. The project was directed by Brando Crawford, Variety reported.
According to the plot of the film, a character named Johnny found out about the betrayal of the bride with his best friend. Due to betrayal, the protagonist committed suicide.
According to the source, the scenes with Odenkirk were filmed in January. Cameron Caskey and Bella Heathcoat will also appear in the project. However, representatives from the original film's director, Tony Wiseau, said they were not contacted about the remake.
Proceeds from the film will be donated to the AIDS Foundation.
