MOSCOW, March 11 Roscosmos Corporation plans to send a seagull depicted on the curtain of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov, into the Earth's orbit, the company announced on its Telegram channel.
«The seagull is gaining altitude and sent into space… Very soon, a fragment of the legendary Moscow Art Theater curtain will go into orbit,» the published video says.

The corporation reminded that the current curtain was designed by the architect Fyodor Shekhtel. The same symbol may be placed on the emblem of one of the future ISS crews.
Chekhov intend to hold various events. Thus, a tour to the Baikonur Cosmodrome with a special production is planned.
The Moscow Art Theater was founded in 1898 by Konstantin Stanislavsky and Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko. In 1987, it was divided into two theaters — the Gorky Moscow Art Academic Theater and the Chekhov Moscow Art Academic Theater (later the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater).
