BP and Castrol have announced a new phase of their strategic partnership with the Volkswagen Group, which has been successfully ongoing for 17 years. The agreement extends and expands fuel and lubricant supply agreements for Volkswagen Group vehicles worldwide and covers brands such as Volkswagen passenger cars, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen light commercial vehicles.
Castrol and Volkswagen will work together on cutting-edge research and development of high-tech products to improve fuel efficiency and vehicle life, and together bring the latest trends in the transportation industry to bear on an innovative future of mobility. As part of this partnership, and as a result of the joint work of Volkswagen and Castrol engineers, a new engine oil under a joint brand has already been developed, which will soon be introduced to the market.
