New exhibition under titled «Museum of Mismatch» opened in San Francisco. It features works of art generated by artificial intelligence. They are designed to help visitors think about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence. “AI has the potential for both good and bad,” says curator Audrey Kim. She explains the concept of the museum as follows:
«This is a post-apocalyptic world where artificial intelligence has already destroyed most of humanity and realized that this is bad, and then created this space as a kind of memorial for people. So, our slogan is: «Sorry for killing most of humanity.»
Artificial General Intelligence is a concept even more vague than simple AI, which is gradually being introduced into everyday life, as evidenced by the rapid emergence of applications such as ChatGPT or chat -Bing bot But Kim wants to make you think about the dangers of going too far and too fast into this realm.
