Earlier, Chempionat reported that Khimki head coach Spartak Gogniev had a serious conflict with team players Ayaz Guliyev and Dmitry Tikhim. A number of media reported a fight between them. The football player was not included in the application for the match of the 19th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with Zenit, which took place on Sunday in St. Petersburg and ended in a 3-2 victory for the hosts.
“If Ayaz Guliyev was not included in the application for the match with Zenit, then the coaching staff decided so. I don’t see anything supernatural. The player has no injuries, he trains with the team,” Olenev said.
Guliyev has been playing for Khimki since June 2022. As part of the Moscow Region team, he played 12 matches and made one assist.
