Morgan Motor Company, following other elite British automakers, wants to make money on unique projects and demonstrates the possibilities of «individual tailoring» on the example of a four-seater pleasure car the Spiaggina, based on the previous generation Morgan Plus 4 roadster.
There are no four-seat cars in the Morgan Motor Company's current model line, but if you really want to, the company will make one on an individual order, as it did for one wealthy collector, whose name was not disclosed. Spiaggina is translated from Italian as «chaise longue» or «beach chair», a unique model designed for four, it was produced at the end of last year, but only the other day Morgan decided to tell the general public about it.
At the heart of the Spiaggina model is not the modern Morgan Plus Four on the CX-Generation aluminum platform with a wooden superstructure, but its predecessor Plus 4 with a steel frame at the base. Morgan does not explain why this choice of a donor model is connected — most likely, this is a whim of the client, because using the example of a small-scale CX-T crossover, the company has already demonstrated the flexibility of the CX-Generation platform, it is possible to build the most bizarre conversions on it.

The interior of the original roadster has been thoroughly redesigned for the installation of a folding passenger bench in the second row. The side doors have been removed, chrome-plated handrails for rear passengers have been installed above the rear fenders, the stern is slightly lengthened and equipped with a unique tailgate that leans back flush with the floor.
