An equally monstrous tragedy occurred in the family of a radio station employee suspected of murder
The horrific murder of Vologda radio host Anna Azovskaya, whose body was found in Moscow with 30 stab wounds, shocked not only Vologda, but also the capital. Local residents and acquaintances of the victim are considering several versions of the brutal reprisal — from possible criminal showdowns to the abuse of prohibited substances and the pathological jealousy of the murder suspect.

Recall that the body of 34-year-old radio host «Russian Radio Vologda» Anna Azovskaya (the real name of the deceased Sablin. — «MK») was found on January 3 in an apartment building located on Polina Osipenko Street. Residents of high-rise buildings heard women's cries for help and called the guards. No one opened the door for the police officers, and they had to break down the door. When they went inside, they found a terrible picture: the whole apartment was covered in blood.
Forensic experts counted 30 stab wounds on the body of the radio host. 33-year-old Vladimir Maklakov was detained at the crime scene. According to investigators, it was he who inflicted stab wounds.
As it turned out later, Anna Azovskaya, the daughter of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Vasily Sablin, came with her boyfriend to Moscow for the New Year holidays. The couple settled in a rented apartment, where drama later played out. On the eve of the tragedy, the couple was at a photo session, at which, which is not excluded, a quarrel could have occurred.
Later it also turned out that the suspect in the murder of the Vologda woman turned out to be the son of a well-known entrepreneur, the owner of a number of companies related to the timber processing business.
The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow detained the suspect until March 3, 2023.
< p>Those who knew Anna and watched the adventures of the suspected major consider several versions of what happened at once.
One of them is the banal jealousy of the suspect. According to those who knew Anna, she did not particularly talk about her personal life.
“I know that there were relationships. … She also hid him, no one knew anything about him. She was always alone with everyone. … I just didn’t want anyone to worry about her, I never wanted to disturb anyone, ”an acquaintance of the deceased told reporters.
The ex-director of Russian Radio Vologda Mikhail Sklyar said that around the young woman was always curled up by admirers. Therefore, it is also possible that a quarrel could break out on the basis of jealousy.
“Anya was a fantastically beautiful girl, although this did not bring her happiness,” he said. The ex-director also said that at one time he hired Anna almost as a child: she was barely 18 years old. But even then she had “an unmeasured number of passionate admirers.”
“Once during a live broadcast hosted by Anna Azovskaya, a bouquet of roses addressed to her was brought to the studio,” the ex-director recalled. “I have never seen anything like it… There were at least fifty luxurious flowers!”
Vologda residents, who are now extremely involved in this terrible story, recall that the suspect in the murder is from a fairly well-known family.
“The Maklakov family is quite wealthy and noticeable in Vologda by the same car numbers. Everyone drives expensive SUVs, always with the number 600,” one of the locals wrote on the social network.
In addition, locals cautiously suggest that addiction could be a possible cause of the emergency. One of the subscribers of the local public «Online Vologda» noted that allegedly «the whole small motherland was aware of the banned substances.»
Local journalists were also confused by the address of the apartment where Anna Azovskaya was murdered. The address of the “bad apartment” in Moscow may coincide with the address of the dwelling that was mentioned in the investigation of a well-known Vologda blogger.
Vasily Solovyov, the founder and real owner of Russian Radio Vologda LLC, became the main person involved in the investigation then. He owned the company before the deceased took over.
“Among the property registered in the name of one of Solovyov’s relatives, an apartment was named, which with a high degree of probability coincides with the scene of the murder of Anna Azovskaya,” local journalists wrote.
However, it is not possible to ask Solovyov questions — a man died suddenly of covid in June last year.
It also turned out that this was not the first tragedy that happened in the Maklakov family. A few years ago, the family of the suspect in the murder of Azovskaya acted as the injured party. In the fall of 2020, under terrible circumstances, local reporters recall, the cousin of Vladimir Maklakov died. The pregnant woman was stabbed to death by her husband, a former firefighter, Konstantin Kapustin.
The worst thing is that Kapustin dealt with his five-year-old daughter in the same way. During the trial, the killer retracted his testimony and stated that there was allegedly a third person in the house. But all his claims of innocence were refuted by the investigators.
