CHELYABINSK, March 14 Investigators will investigate the situation with a passenger who was not allowed to board the plane in Moscow, according to the IC website.
As Chelyabinsk resident Ivan said Vershok, he had a ticket for the evening flight of Pobeda Airlines on March 4 at Sheremetyevo Airport. During check-in, the staff checked his wheelchair and reported that the battery capacity was large and it was impossible to get on board.
Vershok explained that on March 2, he flew to Moscow from Chelyabinsk with the same stroller on a plane of this airline without any or problems. As a result, in the morning he left on another flight, spending the night at the airport. At the same time, according to him, Pobeda did not provide an official refusal to transport and refund money for the ticket.
“The investigative bodies of the Western Interregional Investigation Department on Transport of the Investigative Committee organized a pre-investigation check based on information from the media about a possible violation of the rights of a passenger with disabilities by one of the airlines,” the publication says.
