
WARSAW, Mar 15 Inflation in Poland this February rose to 18.4% compared to February 2022, according to the General Statistical Office of the Republic (GUS).
This is the highest inflation rate since December 1996.
According to GUS, prices for goods rose by 20.2% in February, and services — by 13.3%.
At the same time, in relation to January, consumer prices rose by 1.2%.
Foodstuffs (by 24%) and transport (23.7%) went up the most in February.
