Maxim Lyuty called himself «enlightened»
In Sochi, a St. Petersburg raw food blogger Maxim Lyuty was detained. The man positioned himself as the author of healing methods and promoted nutrition exclusively with raw vegetables and fruits. Apparently, he prescribed the same diet to his newborn baby, who died in the hospital. According to preliminary information, the child died of exhaustion and pneumonia.
Maxim Lyuty
Maxim Lyuty is from St. Petersburg. Despite his public activities, the man did not particularly spread about his personal life. He didn't talk about his parents or his wife. “We met him more than 10 years ago in St. Petersburg. We agreed on the theme of club parties and music, — recalls a friend of the blogger. – He was a normal guy. I drank like everyone else. Had fun. There was no talk of any raw food diet. And then he disappeared. We only communicated online. He didn't talk about his personal life. I didn't even know he had a baby.
“Maxim moved to Sochi more than a year ago, built a house there, opened a public health academy, where he invited tourists to cleanse the body and a raw food diet, and gave lectures there,” says another friend of Lyuty. — Events were held at the hotel. A 10-day group course cost around 40,000 rubles per person. There was a separate price tag for individual procedures with Lyuty. For example, for one session of an osteopathic procedure, Maxim took 7,000 rubles, for a massage – 5,000, a personal consultation cost 7,000 rubles.
Many of Lyuty's friends were surprised that the blogger had a son. He did not tell any of them about the addition to the family.
— We were doing body stretching together, but we hadn’t seen each other for three years, although we kept in touch. He moved to Sochi because it is warm there and there are a lot of fruits – what a raw foodist needs, — recalls a friend of the blogger. – Now they write everywhere that his wife gave birth at home, and Maxim took delivery – it looks like him. He always avoided doctors, did not believe in the coronavirus. For all the years of our acquaintance, he never turned to doctors, and he did not get sick at all. He believed that modern medicine does not cure, but only eliminates the symptoms.
Another acquaintance of Lyuty spoke about the personality of this person.
— I have been following his activities for a long time. The fact that he is out of his mind is clear from his posts and live broadcasts. He promotes an anti-scientific approach to treatment and fools people, — the woman thinks. — As I understand it, he has nothing to do with medicine, he does not have the appropriate education, he is self-taught. But he claims that he can cure a person of any disease. He managed to create something types of a sect. He has many fans. People go to him, as they used to go to Kashpirovsky. All his fans – led and blindly believing in his leadership. In one video, he referred to himself as the «Second Coming.» It was funny to listen to him. But the fact that he undertook to treat people is no longer funny… I know that about 10 years ago he lived in Goa. He had his own gym there. It seems that since then he has become a raw foodist, & nbsp; fruitarian and others. This is where it all started. There he decided for some reason that he was «enlightened.» And he began to heal the people. Although he has no competence, except for his own experience, according to him.
By nature, he is tough and categorical. It's useless to argue with him. He considers himself right in everything. I would not be surprised if the wife was in his complete subordination. Perhaps it was he who forced her to give birth at home and keep the child on a diet.
I suppose that the fact of the death of a child will not stop his fans. He will still be contacted. These people are like zombies.
According to another interlocutor, Lyuty had a grandmother. He told a lot about her to his subscribers, created a page for her in social networks. In the profile header he wrote: “Grandmother Muza, 89 years old. Thanks to the grandson's system, she cured diabetes and much more without surgery and pills. The recovery program begins with useful herbs».
— He talked a lot about his grandmother, said that she had become the oldest raw foodist in Russia and inspired thousands with her example, says a friend of the blogger. — It seems like she lived with him. He filmed it on video, posted videos on the Web. Most likely, he forced her to refuse normal food and doctors. In 2021, Maxim posted a post that his grandmother had died. And when subscribers brought condolences, he asked not to be upset, wrote strange things that «she is doing well there»; and «she is happy».
