Deputy of the Assembly Maloyaroslavetsky district of the Kaluga region Alexander Lependin reported the news about the situation that arose after one of the meetings of the district council, he did not stand up during the performance of the anthem of the Russian Federation. As it became known earlier, the other day the deputy was given a summons to the military registration and enlistment office.
Lependin told Gazeta.ru that on Wednesday he visited the military registration and enlistment office, they checked the data and made him an offer to serve under the contract.

He also said that the committee on ethics of the district assembly should make a decision within a month, but the deputy himself is sure that he will not will be deprived of the mandate.
Lependin previously explained that he did not get up during the performance of the anthem, as the day before he had worked out excessively in the gym, his legs hurt and it was hard to stand. He also stated to Gazeta.ru that at that moment none of the colleagues in the hall made any comments to him about this.
