Frame SUV Ford Bronco will arrive in Europe in a limited edition and with one engine

Assemble American brand cars, designed for the old-world market, will be at a plant in Michigan. Deliveries are expected towards the end of this year.

Ford has returned the legendary Bronco name to its lineup in the summer of 2020, with a retro-designed frame SUV debuting in three- and five-door versions. The novelty reached dealers in the US market only in June 2021. Note that in the native States, the model is still in short supply: many customers have been waiting in line for more than a year. According to Carsalesbase, in January-November 2022 (data for the whole year is not yet available), dealers sold 106,645 SUVs here.

Last year, it became known about the plans of the American manufacturer to bring the Ford Bronco to the European market, however, the company immediately made a reservation that the model would not be available in all countries. For example, it was previously noted that the frame SUV will not have a right-hand drive modification, so it will not be officially introduced in the UK and Ireland.

A specific date for the Bronco's entry into the old-world market has yet to be announced at Ford, noting that the model is already «soon to be available for order.» In addition, the manufacturer added that the frame SUV will arrive in Europe in a «strictly limited edition.» It is planned to produce cars for this market at the Ford plant in Michigan.

Now it has become known that Europeans will get Ford Bronco with only one “filling” option: we are talking about a 2.7-liter EcoBoost biturbo six , its return is 335 hp, and the maximum torque is 563 Nm. This motor is paired with a non-alternative ten-speed automatic transmission.

In the old-world market, the car will only be available in a five-door version and in two versions — Outer Banks and Badlands. It is known that different trim levels have their own unique decor, as well as a plate with a limited edition number. A choice of accessories will also be given to prospective owners, including waterproof neoprene seat covers, door storage bags and a soft mesh upper.

As told at Ford, the European version of the Outer Banks Bronco will have 18-inch wheels wrapped in 32-inch Bridgestone tires. While the Badlands variant will be equipped with 17-inch wheels, complete with 33-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires. Standard on both versions are Normal, Eco, Slippery, Mud/Ruts and Sand driving modes. In addition, the Sport mode is also offered for the first version, and Baja and Rock Crawl for the second. -a8ed-6ba7fbc29f39/2023-ford-bronco-badlands-interior-28.jpg» alt=»» />

The standard equipment of the European specification model will include heated front seats, a 12-inch touchscreen Sync4 multimedia system, a camera system with a 360-degree viewing angle, a ten-speaker sound system, as well as a full package of ADAS driving assistants. Ford Bronco prices in Europe will be announced later.
