A terrible family tragedy occurred on Sunday in an apartment building on Dmitry Ulyanov Street. The owner of the apartment shot his mother and sister, after which he set the apartment on fire. The criminal himself died in the fire.

As it became known to MK, the incident happened at 14.30, and the passengers of the 434 bus passing along the street were among the first to know about it. There was a roar, and right in front of the car on the roadway collapsed, breaking to smithereens, window glass. Only miraculously, the fragments did not hurt anyone. At first, the witnesses decided that there was an explosion in the apartment on the 14th floor, but then it turned out that the glass had simply burst due to the high temperature due to the fire.
The source of ignition was in one of the rooms of a three-room apartment. Firefighters quickly evacuated the neighbors and put out the fire in just 20 minutes. But when examining the ashes, a terrible discovery awaited them. Two dead women lay on the floor in the room, and they died not from burns or poisoning, but from gunshot wounds to the head and chest. On the loggia, firefighters found the body of the owner of the apartment. A hunting rifle and a canister with the remains of a flammable liquid were also lying here.
Gradually, the operatives restored the picture of what had happened. The neighbors helped them. They explained that the 41-year-old man moved into this house several years ago and has not shown himself in any way so far. However, on Sunday afternoon, screams, noise, then pops were heard from the apartment, and a few minutes later smoke began to pour. It also turned out that the killer's victims were his 38-year-old sister and 65-year-old mother. Immediately after the massacre, he voluntarily passed away.
The motives of the terrible act remain a mystery. According to preliminary information, the man had large debts, which could lead to a nervous breakdown.
