A participant in a Moscow criminal showdown 10 years ago, in which a man was shot, was detained by criminal investigation officers in the Ryazan region.
As it became known to MK, this is a clash of members ethnic criminal group at the restaurant «Talisman of the East» on the Red Lighthouse Street on the night of September 26, 2012. Then the participants in the incident — mostly natives of Azerbaijan — opened fire on their opponents at the entrance to the restaurant. Three bandits fired from two types of weapons. As a result of the shelling, two Azerbaijanis, aged 27 and 57, were wounded. The youngest of them was taken to the hospital, where he died the same night. The elder was also taken away from the scene in a Zhiguli car, which the traffic inspectors stopped at the intersection of the TTK and Volgogradsky Prospekt. The victim was also hospitalized.
On Thursday afternoon, an alleged participant in the showdown, also a native of Azerbaijan (at that time he was 24 years old), was detained in a village in the Ryazan region. The search for accomplices continues.
