MOSCOW, March 18 During the first two weeks of operation of the Big Circle Line (BCL) of the Moscow Metro, Beeline subscribers downloaded more than 141 TB of information while traveling on it, the press service of the mobile operator reports.< br />Voice traffic amounted to almost 9 thousand hours. On March 8, most passengers were recorded at the Rizhskaya station — one of the largest flower markets in Moscow is located there. Such data was obtained by specialists of the geoanalytics department and the technical unit of the beeline, after analyzing the aggregated depersonalized data of subscribers using the BCL for movement.
Mobile Internet traffic on BKL for the first 12 days of operation amounted to more than 141 TB, which is 90% more than on the Circle Line. Voice traffic on BKL for the same period exceeded the indicators of the Circle Line by 50% and amounted to almost 540,000 minutes. The most popular Internet services in terms of traffic used by Beeline subscribers while traveling along the Black Line were web surfing, social networks, instant messengers and streaming services (video and music).
Kashirskaya station turned out to be the most popular in terms of attendance. In second place is the station on one of the busiest routes in the south-west of Moscow — Tekstilshchiki. On the third and fourth lines are Kakhovskaya and Klenovy Boulevard, respectively. These four stations accounted for about 25% of all passenger traffic in the first 12 days. The least popular stations in the first days of the BCL were Delovoy Tsentr, Terekhovo and Davydkovo.
The travel time between Moscow metro stations has also been noticeably reduced. So, for example, between Rizhskaya and Sokolniki, the travel time was 3 minutes instead of 17 minutes before the opening of the BCL. The peak load of the new stations was expected at 8 am and 6 pm.
If we compare the indicators with the Circle Line, then already in the first days of operation, the BCL passenger traffic was close in terms of the indicators of the «ring» — the difference was only 0.8% in favor of the Circle Line. Most of all, people aged 40 to 45 benefited from BCL. In second place is the age category «35-39», and in third place is «30-34», the press service of the beeline notes.
