KRASNODAR, March 17 The court has given a two-year suspended sentence to the former head of the dance theater for indecent acts against a 15-year-old pupil during a Sochi dance tournament, the united press reported -service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.
As the court found, in July last year, the head of the dance theater brought his students to Sochi for an international dance competition. At night, the defendant tried to pester his 15-year-old student, but was rebuffed and beaten. At the hearing, the defendant fully admitted his guilt and repented.
«Sentence in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of two years probation was appointed,» the message says. The choreographer was also banned from working with children for the next ten years.
The verdict has not yet entered into force and can be appealed.
