
MOSCOW, March 17 The Central Bank still believes that the free limit on transfers between its accounts in different banks should be 1.4 million rubles, said Head of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina.
She noted that the regulator understands the position of some financial organizations that oppose such a limit.

“But we consider it fundamentally important that people have the right to their savings, at least within the insured transfer amounts from one bank to another bank freely,” Nabiullina explained.
In December 2022, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill proposing to exempt transfers of individuals between their accounts in different banks from commissions in the amount of up to 1 4 million rubles.
