According to Nada Al Halabi, MDLBEAST's Director of Strategy, the organizers want the festival to be attractive to women, with diversity among the participants and the public. «I may be one of the few people in a leadership position right now, but I hope there will be more female directors soon,» she says.
The concert venue and the park area with a cafe occupy more than five and a half square kilometers. During the break between the main concerts, one could also visit the performances of street artists.
