IRKUTSK, March 19 Five people were injured at a plant in the city of Bratsk, Irkutsk region, due to a chlorine leak, the regional SUSK RF reports.
In the Irkutsk region, due to an incident at one of the enterprises of Bratsk, the Investigative Committee began a pre-investigation check under an article on violation of environmental protection rules in the course of work.
«On the evening of March 18, chlorine dioxide was released due to a fistula in a pipe at one of the enterprises in Bratsk, as a result of which five people were injured,» the statement said.
It is noted that at present the enterprise is operating normally. Assistance is provided to the victims.
