The lawyer published a statement from the teams of the Moscow bars Underdog and La Virgen, where raids took place yesterday, with apologies to the security forces

Teams of the Moscow bars Underdog and La Virgen, in which yesterday the police threatened visitors with stun guns and forced them to sing along to Shaman and Lube, issued a statement of apology to the security forces. The appeal was published by lawyer Konstantin Erokhin.

“We apologize to everyone for the events of these days, including all law enforcement officers who had to participate in these events because of us and waste their time,” the post says.

Yesterday, two bars announced on their social networks that they would not work on March 17 and 18. Later it became known that security forces came to the institutions. They forced one of the visitors to write “Z is for Russia” on the door, and also included the songs of Shaman and “Lube” and forced bar customers to sing along with them.

As an Underdog employee, who wished to remain anonymous, told Mediazone, in case of refusal to comply with the requirements, the police threatened to use stun guns. In addition, they told visitors who have tattoos to undress. According to Erokhin, fiscal drives and two terminals were confiscated from the bar.

As a result, the security forces detained more than 40 people. After yesterday's raid, employees and patrons of the bars began to receive threats, the establishment teams specified.

“We all understand that the reason for yesterday’s arrests was the events that happened in the summer of 2022. Our task now is to protect our employees and customers,” the appeal says. We are talking about the announcement of the La Virgen vinyl records market, the proceeds from which were planned to be sent to the charitable association Kyiv Angels.

After this publication, in July, pro-government publics called to check in bars. TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov was outraged that «the people involved in fundraising have not yet been arrested.» Then La Virgen wrote that the account on which the announcement was posted had been hacked. Now the teams write that in order to avoid further raids they will have to part with one of the owners of the bars, Pavel Kosov.
