Ukrainian minister announced the extension of the grain deal for 120 days

MOSCOW, March 18 Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said that the «grain deal» has been extended, but, according to him, for another 120 days.
Earlier on Saturday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed the extension of the «grain deal» after negotiations with the parties.
«The Grain Initiative Agreement has been extended for another 120 days. I am grateful to United Nations Secretary General António Guterres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as to all partner countries for their joint efforts to extend the document for another 4 months», – Kubrakov wrote on his Facebook page*.

According to him, Ukraine continues to export its agricultural products through three deep sea ports. The minister noted that the authorities continue to work on joining the «grain initiative» of the ports of the Nikolaev region, as well as expanding the range of goods.

The deal, which was signed on July 22, 2022 by representatives of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN, involves the export of Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizer across the Black Sea from three ports, including Odessa. The Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul is in charge of coordinating the movement of ships.
