VLADIVOSTOK, Mar 19 Two people were injured in an accident with five cars in Vladivostok, the Primorsky Territory Ministry of Internal Affairs Department reported on its Telegram channel.
According to the police, a mass accident occurred on Svetlanskaya Street in Vladivostok: a 37-year-old Lexus driver, previously, in a state of intoxication, was moving in the direction of Shefner Street. Unable to keep the distance, the SUV collided with a Nissan AD, which ran into a Toyota Prius driven by a 27-year-old driver who crashed into a Toyota Prius driven by a 59-year-old man. Nissan was thrown into another parked Toyota Prius.
«As a result of an accident, passengers of Nissan AD were injured: women aged 47 and 50 were hospitalized. Five vehicles received mechanical damage,» the report says.
An extended blood test was taken from the Lexus driver to detect a state of intoxication, and the SUV was sent to the parking lot for the temporary detention of vehicles, the Ministry of Internal Affairs clarifies.
