MOSCOW, March 20 Russia will continue to help Africa with electricity and expand energy systems there, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
«Large Russian investment projects are being implemented in Africa with the participation of such domestic Russian companies as Rosneft, Gazpromneft, RusHydro, Alrosa, Lukoil and many, many others. We will continue to help African countries in the production of electricity,» Putin said at the plenary session of the international parliamentary conference «Russia-Africa in a Multipolar World».
Putin added that today Russia offers new environmentally friendly technologies in the field of nuclear energy.
«Rosatom has already is building a nuclear power plant in Egypt.
